Named after a Milwaukee cemetery, Wanderer’s Rest was anything but peaceful. Led by the fuzzed-out twin guitar attack of brothers Richard and Mike Podraza, the quartet cut four records at Cuca in ’67 and ’68, leaving behind a treasure trove of unissued garage, surf, teener, and soft-psych in the process.
